Here it is in English . The person I had put the ad together for me did it wrong. It should have said International made that model for 3 years in red before MTD bought them out. If you read the serial number tag it says Cub Cadet on it. If it doesn't sell it will be parted out.

Smile Confused:

It looks to me to have a CCC MN:145, with an IHC SN:205. If this is true, I am totally confused.

Smile 782

According to Tractor Data. It was built in Louisville by IHC, between 79-81. The biggest deck they show is a 50". If you go to Parts Tree and model number put in 145, they do not show a 782, and appears to be of the tractors listed under 145 are CCC built. Also I do not speak/comprehend French..

That serial number is too large to be built by IH. It's a CCC.
The ad on CL was misleading in stating it was built by IH. That's
what started all this.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
