I'm ready, we're going to my parents house for dinner where the highlight of the meal is always the smoked turkey. Luckily we got out of going to my wife's parents, I not really in the mode to pretend her mothers cooking isn't horrible.

I work retail for a living...so Thanksgiving and the days leading up to/after can be a nightmare, but it's all good.

We have it at our house every year. My parents do it right though, for the past few years they volunteer in a few different homeless shelters and dish out some viddles to the less fortunate.

Hats off to you folks in retail! My sister just called to, uh....invite(?) me to her Thanksgiving meal, but also in the same breath told me that her family and her wanted to be done by 6 so that they could go shopping. I think America has lost sight of being truly thankful for our health and love around us and more thankful that they can save a buck or two rather than surround ourselves with family and friends. I will elect to just be thankful for my many blessings and for God thinking about me and not go to a quick lunch. Someday, we will be more like Alvy's parents and take care of our fellow (wo)man--hats off to them.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone (cheers)--One of the blessings is meeting/discussing with great people on this site!! Cub Cadet 123

We're going to have father over and cook up a wild turkey breast from Nancy's spring turkey hunt. Get bloated and complain how full we are

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
