They do this at a track not to far from my place, I keep wanting to go check it out but never make it there.

My point was that they have a Formula 1 Champ driving a lawn mower racer. Kimi is also one of the best at rally driving. Too Cool.

I was wondering if anyone was going to understand that it was more about who was driving the mowers than the mowers.Im truly suprised the team owners would even let them do something like that. Some of the greatest drivers in the world right there.

Yes, there are some tough old birds out there. I am a few days short of 70 and I still race go karts. I understand that I do not take the beating those lawn racers get, but racing go karts, still gives you a work out. especially on a dirt track.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
