Cool Ever see a rear mounted Haban sickle mower?
Picked up these brochures today. The #440 mounted on the rear of a 982, it came with a 4 or 5' bar and was $1400 in 1980

If you stop and think about it, $1400 30 years ago is $3000 now. I would almost bet that they only sold a few hundred of them, and most of them were beat half to death. There are probably a few stuck in the back corners of barns somewhere but the odds of finding one is not real good.

I knew they made a rear one for those green mowers. They also had a hydraulic lift to raise and lower the bar. I'm assuming the one for the 982 had the same thing since it was on the rear like that?

Very, very, very cool...
