Not to be a smart arse but that pix depicts a cutting head on that welding torch.
If it were me, I'd at least be wearing long sleeves, and high top boots for personal protection.
That slag hurts and burning skin smells awful
And if you don't know, burning on concrete causes it to get hot enough to "pop"
sending small pieces into the air and body parts.
I apologize if you know all this and choose to ignore it.
But i would feel awful if you got hurt and I didn't advise caution.

Not me, trailer mechanic had just finished cutting on tandem boogie and I said, here, cut the lip off this channel and make into an angle, he complied.
It was quick and dirty, the asphalt didn't like it at all.
It took 20 minutes of grinding to make it flat ready for the next step.
Sleeper pictures tomorrow!

Shoulda used a plasma cutter and a straight edge for that operation, or in my case, I would have ripped it with the band saw set in vertical mode.

You're correct, I caught a working man working with torch in hand so figured, hey Bill, cut this lip off this channel so I can have an angle for my continuing project.
I design, he welds, works great, he dies all my important welding, I do the rest. Oops, I need to put this in the proper thread. Thanks.

Here it is, my 2000 International Eagle sleeper, one of our drivers was in this sleeper when it wrecked, he survived and retired, the cab-sleeper was scrapped and New assembly was placed back on frame rails, I cut sleeper from cab and rebuilt to look authentic, it is, interior finished and now used as an oversize toolbox.
Not many people have a sleeper in their backyard, but I do!

That's the first air conditioned toolbox I've ever seen. Good "re-purposing" .

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
