I'm heavily favoring the tri ribs, I think it will steer better plus I heard the v61's like to pick up dog poop and with two labs at my house that's not a good thing.

The picking up the poop isnt the bad part, its where the poop decides to fly off that STINKS!!!

Happy Belated Birthday Tim, ya young pup! Looks like your wife and kids know you pretty well, so even though those are great gifts to watch and use, it sounds like you are a man with even greater gifts in the wife and kids! Looks like movie night with the family might be in order this weekend opc orn:(I didn't know how many kids you have, so I figured a man your age should have about a dozen or so.... Hope you have many many more real happy birthdays!!

Cool, you won't be disappointed... Got em on my 1650 and they steer easy in all conditions, and nothing sticks to them unlike the 61's, then it drys and, it's all over the garage floor...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
