The 190-364 and 190-450 were two snow blowers for the 82 Series GT's.

Snow blower talk already? It seems like we just started mowing. I was thinking about how fast the summer went by considering that spring didn't arrive here until May really, and that I have to replace the skids on my snow blade before I have to start using that again.

I saw a video on the news memorial day weekend where kids were swimming amongst icebergs on the big lake. These past couple years have been crazy here also. More snow predicted this winter too.

A qa36a and a qa42a with the correct pulley and lift arms will work also.

These are snow throwers NOT snow blowers.

The majority of people use the term "snowblower" generically. The OP didn't state single or two stage. Further clarification is needed.

I started my snowblower rebuild back in July (or maybe June even). Turns out, it takes me a while to finish a project.

I have a 190-450 on a 782 (or 1811 depending on the day) - this blower is a beast. If your drive is relatively flat then no problem. But if you have hills and difficult areas, the 450 is quite heavy for the tractor and combined with relatively low lift clearance when in the up position, can make it difficult for maneuverability.

Having said that it blows like crazy! Im keeping it, but adding more weight to the tractor rear and one day will mod the lift to go higher.

Might be interesting to hear others thoughts that are running this combo.

Yeah, some people get confused or intermix the terminology (snow thrower vs snow blower) but I can only go what he originally asked for.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
