Do you have the dimensions for those gauge wheel arms? Be a real help! Just asking! LOL

That would be great...cause the end of my deck looks just like yours and someone did a patch job which wasn't the greatest. Hopefully one of these days my 149 will look as good as your tractor does. How do they say all good things come to those that wait!!! LOL While at work I notice there is a metal fab shop acrossed the road from me...talk to them and they can laser cut the part at a resonable price!!! woo hoo gotta love technology!

I stopped by the Cub dealer to order belts to get the deck ready to cut grass and to my surprise they actually had both belts in stock. The new kid there tried to sell me the wrong belts at first. I went in prepared with the correct belt numbers that I got from OCC and double checked them to the Cub Cadet site.

Got the new belts on yesterday and fired up the deck. I hope to try it out later this week. I still need to get the belt guards painted.

Painted the belt guards last night. Found a couple spots where the paint is thin but I'll probably wait to repaint them when I have some more red to paint.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
