Default Taking kids for a ride

Yesterday I had both sides of my family over for a (very) late Father's day for my dad(s). My niece and nephew went for a couple of rides with the 147. She is two and a half and he is five and a half. They live in a suburban cookie cutter housing community where there are lots of kids their age but no one mows their own grass so they aren't exposed to any sort of tractors/lawn mowers etc. They had a blast. Most times I just let them steer unless they were going for a tree, etc.

Hitched up the #2 trailer and they rode in that too.

You are making memories those kids will carry to their old age, and yours also.

Nice pics Daniel, looks like a couple future only cub cadet members there.
I like the boys expression on the 8th picture down.;looks like he`s on a fast roller coaster.

Nice work Dan. I do the same with my kids. Got the 5 year old towing his sister and able to work the hydro like a pro and do laps all over, makes a good baby sitter. As George said, good memories made right there

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
