The exhaust port has no threads left, the muffler was completely corroded away and water was getting in, value was stuck so there was no compression... it was this or replace the motor.... for now this will do fine

Not for a NF. You can switch to a wide frame front axle and go the "C" style spindles.

Here's something to think about Lance. Guys always get all excited about upgrading that axle to a bigger diameter with a FEL. But no one ever thinks about the fact that the spindle bolt.... the long one that goes through the axle and the spindle "C" is still just a 1/2" bolt. And the metal that holds the 1" axle is the same size..... so what good did the upgrade really do?

NONE.

Same goes for that silly hub "upgrade". Pointless.

If you are going to do it, you are better off building your own spindle assembly's and making them heavier.

Good point, so... it would probably be best to just go over the oem setup and refresh anything that may be worn, maybe add grease zerts if needed, and just mot get foolish overworking it. That I can do, I would likely just haul tractor parts around with it anyway so probably never more than a couple hundred pounds.

I was just thinking if I put this fel on it theres one more reason not to sell it. Lol

...like I need one

The framework on the fel is specific for a Ford Lgt series tractor and mounts to either side of the rear axle.... I dont think the 126 has enough clearance around the brakes so I’ll likely put the fel on one of my opensided LGTs and sell the closed sided Lgt165 that it came on.

Finally gettin around to installing the salvaged clutch from one 126 into the other 126.... not alot of clearance in there so I cheated and slide the engine ahead abit. Parts are all back in place but the bolts/pins and adjustments I left for tomorrow.

Post office called to notify me of a package.... Im hoping thats the headlight panel from Jeremy

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
