Take a long time indeed. My wife and I are in the process of building our new "downsized" home, and I still root around looking for parts for the next project. I just scored this "treasure" and got the steering column/valve, front axle with cylinder, and the steering brakes. Sorry for hijacking your post.

No worries mate. always got to look around for goodies that everyone has decided to throw away. I have a pair of Wisconsin TJDs that i picked up for a pair of benjamins. one runs and the other does not. both are E start and should be plenty fun to mess with. Love the sound they make when they run.

Here is my 147 with 26x12x12. Really tight fit but I didn't have to shim or change anything.

just a little bit of an update. Jeff from PA has been contacted to provide a bit of machine support. here is a little teaser.

On a side note. I got the clutch parts in. Does the wear on the disc and coupler look to be to much to be serviceable? the disc I would think would be ok if it has a bit of slop. The coupler tho I am worried about. I plan on using a driveshaft bearing with a lock collar to help with support. Would you drill new holes in the coupler 90 degrees from the worn holes. Or would you make a new coupler?

I like those 26's farm fresh! Dang, big enough exhaust pipe? lol I've been wanting another set of ags. If I just use my custom 1288 for plowing I may go to 26's. It would look pretty cool! You gonna paint your 1810 like an 88 series IH? She'd look awesome!

April 1979 1200 Quietline 44A deck 1988 1211 customized into a 1288 with a K301AQS 38C deck and a 1864 54” deck . Snow blades 42" and 54" . Brinly disk, brinly plow a cultivator and a $5 brinly yard rake!
