Default Hmm, just I find this strange.

Just wanted to get this off my chest, so please bare with me. I just found out recently that there is such a thing as a dog DNA test? Seriously? A dog DNA test? I understand that there are DNA tests for humans, you know, for checking your ethnic background, but a DNA test to further confirm the breed types of dogs and their ancestry? I guess technology really got too advanced then, especially when it comes to tracing your ancestors.

Reminds me of the time a friend and I went to the livestock auction.
I bought 2 young heifers and as were unloading them in the barn, I mentioned
I would like to breed both of them as they looked to be good herd stock.
With the face of a poker player, he said I would not do that if I were you!!
I asked why, he said there is just no market for 2 legged cattle.
Well I didn't see that one coming, but to this day, my wife still laughs about it, as she was there.

I respect your knowledge and ability to repair things but honestly your people skills SUCK. Why must you always have such a negative attitude? If you disagree with something try just not saying anything or at least be creative. Before you hit submit read back what you are about to post and ask yourself how you would react if this was being said to you.

A DNA test can be done on any animal.... its not a "human" specific test.

Well, I'll admit, the woman had this done to one of our dogs. Long story, so here we go.
I had a purebred papered up black lab, best dog I ever had. I wanted a pup out of him before he was to old. So found a guy who claimed he had a purebred chocolate lab female he wanted to breed. Okay.
So went and checked the female, she "looked" normal. And went ahead with the repopulation.
Well pups are born, I take pick of the litter, and everything goes along as normal. As the pup becomes a dog, he starts changing in looks. Snout becomes long and narrow. Ears look a little out of place. "Droopy" looking...
Well at full grown, he don't look "all lab", so the woman get's one of those DNA kits. Swab the inside of his mouth, and send it out. Three weeks later, we get the results back. He's 80% lab, and 20% dalmation.
SO, either the female wasn't everything the owner said she was, OR somebody jumped the fence when she was in heat. Either way, he's at least 80% what he's supposed to be. But smart, and good for anything he's not.
Side by side with our pure papered chocolate, there is a noticeable difference. But, he's still a good boy...

Sam, you are a friend.... but that's a pretty hypocritical comment. You just did what you're telling me not to do. Just delete the comment if you think it doesn't belong. Someone keeps changing or deleting my posts anyway. I understand if they get changed/deleted. Doesn't bother me.

I don't offend easily. At all....and I can link a recently closed thread, entirely about me, that I didn't post in to prove it. Not many people would stay on a site after they were openly "discussed" like that. Let alone refrain from commenting. I just wasn't all that bothered by it. Same people with the same complaints. Never ends with them.

At least everyone knows where I stand on any given topic. Whether they care to know or not. I just can't seem to figure out exactly where it is you stand anymore Sam. You're not the same guy you were a year ago. You've changed.....

I really don't think it's necessary to do this on this thread. If you want to talk, you have my number.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
