Question What can we do,....

What a shame it is to find in the Tec. Sections, where members have taken time to post pictures and explanations of "how-to's", only to have the pictures no longer available for viewing. I've always went with Tiny Pic, and seldom have had problems with pictures disappearing. Not that Photo Bucket stuff, or whom ever it is.

Just wondering,....

I always just upload the pics to this site. That way, don't have to worry about it.

I agree...... needs fixed. Not sure how to do that though.

You may have to CONTACT one of the Mods or Administrator to look into it. They should be able to contact others, from other forums, and hear what they have done with this issue...
These guys are great, and go out of their way for the betterment of OCC. RIGHT?

Jon, I had forgot for along time about uploading to the site. Just tried the upload and it works fine.

On a side note, I don't think there will be much we can do to retrieve the lost picture data.

A lot of the pics are still there. You just have to click on the thing where the pic used to be and it will take you to it. If I still could, I could then take the pic, save it to my PC and upload it to this site. BUT...... I can't do that anymore. I used to fix stuff like that.....

Sometimes though, it's just gone. Like a lot of posts in the tractor tech section by Matt G. He linked a lot of stuff to his personal webpage, which no longer exists. Those threads just need deleted.

Pictures loaded by a Member that used PhotoBucket we have NO control over. It is up to that member to correct the issue.

I have corrected most of the PhotoBucket issues that OCC used, where I can find. If there is one that needs to be addressed, let me know and I will do my best to fix it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
