Hi .....

My name is Nobody and I use a coulter at plow days.
A coulter is a good tool to use if you know how to set them.

Good plowing pics Tim, your machines always look nice and clean. Where those taken by Larry Sipes?

I run a coulter too but our soil is a little different down here.

Yea, Larry took them. I'm glad he got these pics because the 100 only went down the field and back because of the noise the trans is making.

As for the coulter debate, when I go to PA plow day I'd bet that 95% of people run without them. I don't have any for my plows and they seem to plow good enough without them that I don't feel the need to spend money to get them.

My brinly 10" moldboard plow has a coulter, and I use it and I live in PA. I can't (due to embarrassment) show a picture of it here because the previous owner painted it JD green.

Tim,
Looks good from here, except it looks like your sleeve hitch is on upside down.
How did the 1211 work out plowing?

You might be right about the hitch, I just put it on and didn't even think about it. The 1211 does fine plowing but the 108 is the most fun to plow on.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
