Default Hugh Marston Hefner dies

Most prolly heard this already. Can't really say "poor guy", living till the age of 91. And well, his job was pretty cool.
But most guys grew up reading the "articles" in Playboy magazine.
RIP Mr. Hefner.

With three women I doubt he ever had time to work on his Cub's, what a terrible way to live. RIP Hef.

He lived in a good time, today with the internet, books/newspapers are going by the wayside, some over a 100 years in existence.
I remember when his first magazine appeared and I did enjoy the articles over the years, not
to say the photography lacked in appeal
It was always quality, unlike some of the others.
RIP Mr. Hefner

I agree, always a quality magazine done in a tasteful manner compared to others both of the same and of other topics. Not everyone will agree with the subject matter, but appreciation of the other sex is a part of human nature. Some say it should be kept a private matter, but Hugh was ahead of his time, and the rest is history.
RIP

"Articles?" Yeah some were interesting. Seemed the magazine would take the reader to some interesting places. Way before the day of the interweb, now everyplace is a "click" away...
I still have the Carmen Electra issue I had autographed by her at the local World of Wheels.

I only have one years worth. My wife got me a subscription for Christmas about ten years ago, I'm not even sure if I still have them.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
