Default Learned something about Cub Cadet headlights today

I found out that a 4410 bulb is the high beam version of the 4411. I have not got any to try yet, but I'm going to next time I got out of town. They are supposed to draw the same watts too, so they will not overload the electrical system. I found them at Steiner tractor while I was looking for tractor parts. I see them listed for $7.99 at my closest O'Reilly's.

Steiner Tractor Parts It's the 3rd bulb listed.

The only difference between the 4410 and the 4411 is the Beam Spread Pattern.

Any PAR36 bulb in the proper wattage range will work.

PAR stands for Parabolic Anodized Reflector.
The number after PAR indicates the diameter of the face of the lamp, expressed in 1/8ths of an inch. A PAR36 is 36 eighths-of-an-inch, so it is 4.5 inches in diameter.

I think someone may have posted this recently, but I can't find it right now, so I will post a link. Here is a led replacement for a par36 or 4411 bulb.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
