Todd,
Your dad need your strength now. To talk with him and comfort him. Make some memories with him in his final days. You will remember and cherish those. I agree it sure is tough to see these strong men in our lives become weak and soft like babies. I hope they can make him as comfortable as possible! Your dad and our oldest daughter Stacy, have the same birthday, she was born in 1977. I will be thinking about you and your family. Regards, Chris

I'm never any good at this, even though I've been through it with friends and relatives. I'm sorry about this burden Todd. Not that your dad is a burden, but having to be with him in the condition he is in is hard for anyone to deal with, especially when it's your dad. Prayers for you and your family buddy.

Hey Todd. These are tough times for your Dad, you and the family. Best wishes for everyone. Hospice does great work, comfort is the thing now, just keeping your dad out of pain and comfortable is the key. When my Dad passed from cancer in 97, we blessed the people in hospice/palliative care for what they did for him and for us. Lean on them, they have answers, they have compassion.
Take care |

Todd,
So sorry to hear your news... But like you have decided and others have said, your dad's comfort in his final days is very important.. Hospice is one of the best organizations that I know of... I have had several close family members and several friends that spent their final days in care of Hospice... Their care and compassion are second to none.. for the patient and the family! Please know that you are doing the right thing for you and your family! Your cub friends are here for you!! Please tell your dad he has prayers from all over!! May God bless you and your dad!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
