That's why I quit doing it, to be competitive the cars cost a grand or more and going to the track every Friday was about $50 by the time I got gas and paid the entry fee.

Yep, and the $50 is on the low side. Guys are buying new tires every week for races. There's your $50 easy right there. A lot of fun but really does add up. Now I just like collecting a few and play around.

Thanks. It's an Associated ProSC 4x4. I did all of the paint with spray cans.

Battery sponsor, tire sponsor, manufacturer sponsor, motor dyno's, battery matchers, commutator lathe's, regional events , nationals spend spend spend.

Been there, done that..fast as all get out. Had a lot of fun and met some cool people, as well as some that were not so much.

Dusted off my racing buggy and ripped it around the yard, I really have the itch to go racing again.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
