Default New Zero turn ordered

I ordered a new zturn today. My CC Tank 50 is about 10 years old and the 2072 is leaking and I am tired of working on the mower every week before we mow. From what I can see it's a pretty stout machine, Ariens Apex 60. It does not make sense for me to buy another brand since I can get it at wholesale cost. I can also get Husqvarna but the Ariens seems better. I am told Ariens apex is basically the same as the Gravely which are only sold by dealers. Any one know about these machines.

What are you gonna do with the 50? I might have a mild interest in it if your selling it.

Well I got the new Ariens Thursday and I must say for the money this thing is a beast. I purposely let the field grow for a few weeks to see what this thing can do. The grass was about 24" tall. I raised the deck to 4" and this thing destroyed the field. I am amazed at the value. Eight years ago I paid more for a CC tank 50 with stamped 50" deck, than this was with a 60" fab deck and much heavier frame and bigger engine and Tires. I looked at the Kubota but the one that seemed closest to the Ariens was almost double the money. Kabota sure is a nice machine but not worth twice the money. Now I need to get the bagger for leaf pick up.

It is always satisfying to know you got a good value and made a good decision.

Congrats on the Zturn.
You'll like it. The wife loves hers. Which Bota were you comparing to the Ariens?

Tod I looked at the 400 and 700 series. I think the Ariens fell somewhere in between the two. Better than the 400 but less than the 700, but for me much better value than both. As I got it for wholesale through my store.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
