LOL, No..... they didn't make plows in odd numbers. It's either a 10" or a 12". 12" is the biggest.

Either way, congrats. Garden use? Or planning for a plow day?

Garden. Don't know of any plow days around here. I don't have much ground so a small tractor seems to be what I need.

Yup, gotta measure from the point to the top of the share.
Either way, nice plow.

Yes nice plow. There was a guy at my last show that was selling them for $125 and up. Nice score. So should they come with the coulter? Is it missing one or were they an option?

I dunno if it was a Lew price, but I thought I couldn't go wrong. I can tell this one had a coulter at one time by the marks around the bolt holes. I'll keep an eye on ePay for one, I guess.

Today scored a sleeve hitch, Bolens 50lb wheel weights, and a carb from a guy 49 miles away. Got one side of the weights painted(they were orange) and will score some bolts tomorrow at work.

Yes, they should have a coulter. As for the rust, take a wire wheel to the plowface till it shines otherwise you won't be doing any plowing with that. When your done wire wheeling it grease it up to keep it from rusting do this after every time you use it too.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
