Warsaw here. Been in the same area for 28 years, spent the first 4 in Peru, IN. I'm surprised I am the only one from Warsaw, so far.

I Mostly lived in the South, near Memphis, TN, but lived in Evansville, IN from 1953-1959.

Don't remember a lot about it since dad got transferred by IH to Decatur, AL in '59, then to Memphis in '62.

Why do I hear Johnny Cash in the background: "I've been everywhere, man....I've been everywhere....."

Lived in Monroeville for about six months, that was over 30 years ago. Moved to Ft. Wayne as I got tired of driving back and forth to go to work. Used to go to Poor Boys tavern on Friday night for the fish dinner, and listen to Bobbie play the piano and sing. Also used to stop in the 4 Aces in Tillman every now and then.

Monroeville was home for 23 years. Got married in 1973 and taught at DeKalb HS from 73-77. Then we moved to Greensburg. My wife was from here. My sister-in-law is the only one I have left in Monroeville and we get there a couple of times a year to see her. She travels down here about the same amount of times. I had a few fish dinners at Poor Boys also; Dan was my barber for many years before he opened the bar.

Live in Ohio now, my late dad worked for IH, lived in Evansville when I was but a wee tyke.. Just past newborn to age 6-1/2. Was born in Parkersburg, WV, moved to Evansville, later Dad got transferred to Decatur, AL, then to Memphis, TN.

When I got out of school, I lived all over the south from SC to Houston, TX

Why do I hear Johnny Cash in the background " I've been everywhere man, I've been everywhere..........."

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
