A short snow plowing video

Please excuse my uber professional camera operation but as you all know, I was trying to drive, film, raise/lower blade, adjust speed, and pick my nose all at the same time so the video is what I could get one handed. I normally go a bit faster but since I was filming, I didn't want to get up some speed then find something nice and hard under to snow to smack into.

Anywho, the video is of me getting the last bits cleared off at work. The part I'm cleaning is a walk path for residents to use when the weather is nice but in the winter it doubles as a short-cut for me to get from the back of the building to the front instead of driving all the way around the large building on public roads. I had already been in once that day to clear things off but we got a few more flurries combined with some decent wind so a second trip was necessary. The video starts off with me trying to show my volt meter and switch panel (can't see the panel, too dark) in the cab then pans out front where I switch on the lights and get to work. I really love having built up the machine I have over the years for use at my job, I couldn't imagine being out in the elements for hours at a time clearing things off like the good cooperate office intended

PS If you enjoy the video, let me know. A friend and I are debating trying to get some basic filming equipment and getting a youtube channel going with tractor (well, mostly Cub) videos, how to's, etc.

fun fun, looks like a snowblower might be better, but whatever gets it done! all I got is a plow also. don't get enough here for a blower.

I've had a snow blower but ended up getting rid of it. The amount of times it comes in useful versus the amount of times it doesn't made the decision for me. That being said, if I had two tractors I would have a blade on one and a blower on eachhaha

Gee, you get paid to plow snow with a Cub, what a great deal.
Plowing snow is my favorite Cub activity although blowing dry snow is fun if it is not in my face. We have a few inches on the ground (1/17) and more for a few more hours. So it will be a good Cub day.

Great vid. nothing like a blade bullying the snow off to the side !! Blowers are ok if you got a cab or a good snow suit and ski goggles !

Oh you have no idea, luckily it's not totally sealed so natural ventilation made quick work of it

I thought it was great. Snow pushing is fun with a blade but it's even more fun in the dark with lights IMO.

As far as filming is concerned, I like no narration or music. It irritates when people are talking or music is playing over an engine/machine working. PS A gopro is your friend.
