My technique for mowing is simple, it went under the deck, it got mowed mission accomplished. Now it's cocktail time.

Same here, Sam. Except we drink water.

If you think it's impressive he can do it over a long yard, I can plant straight lines in a field a half mile long. No GPS, and I can keep them straight, even after dark.
Same here, but I was never as good as you Jon, no night vision.

Years ago in another house, I told my landscaper buddy I wanted the prettiest lawn in town. He told me to get my wallet out and he worked a couple times a week on the grass. Well, it got so bad I had to hire his crew to mow. I swear it grew 2 inches a day. But he taught me the art of laying out lines. Go one way right down the middle and come right back the other way. He explained that the grass actually lies over when you make a cut. The when you do the reverse, that's where the checkered look comes from. That year I did have the best looking yard in town, but it cost me a fortune. Now I do it all myself, but not so much fertilizer.

And if you are one of those guys who blow your clippings in the road, kiss my ass! Nothing makes me madder.

There's a guy down the road from my parents that does that, what makes it worse is that he only mows once a month and the clippings will be 3-4" deep on the road.

Got to love the people who mow once a month need it or not. Take it down to the dirt then let it get 1 foot high and repeat the cycle. They can't spend 1/2 hour mowing each week, but can spend 3 hours one day fighting it.

Wouldn't know where to start Ronnie.
I live out in the country, my driveway, is the road, so my grass goes wherever I want it to.

Annoys the heck out of me too. Can't take a few minutes to blow off the street.

Seems as though the guys that do that though do let it get way too long to begin with.

Then this doesn't apply to you Todd. I live in a gated community with nice homes all around. I will be selling mine soon, want to downsize, and I sure hope they don't do that when I'm selling. I already have to spend 2700.00 to put a new liner in the pool, but that's another long story. Even when I mow, I blow off the road in front of my house? But those people who do that don't blow but one thing.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
