Default IH chipper/shredder

Anyone know what this is? I wonder if this is enough solid to be powered by the front PTO of a QL with few modification?

Maybe but the guy ask $250 CA for it and he think the engine was missing. This don't look like a GT implement, the pulley is a bit high to be drive by a front PTO.

Ok found what it is:

That was a self powered chipper. Found a couple videos of it and if you scroll down and click on images you'll find a couple pics. Looks like it very rare.

So are you going to go get it? Too bad the engine is gone but the rest of it looks nice.

Pretty rare, it's a 35P (3Hp), a bit small for my needs and the asking price is a bit high if you consider all the missing parts availability. I don't know if it worth the effort but since it's rare I will try to get it for a fair price if someone want it.

PS: I found the manual http://www.brentchalmers.com/Manuals...erManualWM.pdf

Well I used to know long time ago but one thing I know for sure Bradors doesn't exist anymore on my side of the fence

Wen I stop for a beer at my local Irish pub I order a Bitberger (Germany's No1 Draft beer) My Irish blood part can't stand the KillKenny taste.

I offer $100Can to that guy and I don't even think this S/G worth it, he didn't decline or accept yet so we will see..

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
