Got the 124 runnin after sitting 15 years!!

Great Vid Jude. I just love the sound of those old Kohlers turning over then starting. It sounds real good. I liked your battery charger. I did a look at evil pay and someone has a deal for four of them shipped for $80. 20 bux/ea. A great idea for guys with more than one cub to keep the batteries maintained. Just thought I would pass that along.

DX3, thanks!! I love the sound also and the smell of exhaust isn't so bad either Thats a good deal on the chargers!! I will get at least one more.

dang its almost like the 15 years of rest made it run nicer lol. how far do you plan on refurbing it? hopefully you save the ags for one of your north carolina cubs lol. i have a shumacher charger like that. but mines 5-10-15 amp. then its got a screen that says either volts or percentage. awesome little charger but sometimes it charges too fast or you need more amps to boost a batterie

Thanks Kenny! It's my first cub that took a good bit of love to get running, the 147 started up pretty easily.

Nick,lol, I didn't expect it to run as sweet as it does Still trying to figure out how far on the refurb I want to go. The ags will stay with this tractor and will hopefully have the tractor up for sale in the spring with a mower deck. Need a mig welder, the hood is very straight but has a tear from the bolt hole(where it mounts to grill) to the edge.

Great job getting that 124 running! Sounds Super! I have that exact same charger. Been using it for about a year now. the fan is going bad in it, so it is very very noisy. Only thing I can complain about on it.

Thanks buddy Do you use the charger constantly?? I will have it running most of the time and would like to pick up another one.

Got my shipment of goodies from Rich over @ Patton Acres I ordered the stuff late wednesday night and it came today, even with the 10" of snow we got yesterday. Now I can hook up throttle linkage after I rebuild the carb. Got a new set of points too.

Yeah, I use it a ton! my 1200 wont charge. Im pretty sure I got the trouble pinpointed to the rectifier. I believe it was not grounding to the shroud. Anyway, I would have to recharge the battery after mowing for 1 hour, every time as the elec pto would kill it to where I had to push it to my shed/ garage for recharge. its a high polluting electric tractor. LOL
