Default 50A mower deck

I have a 50A mower deck that came with the 100 that I recently bought. I replaced it with a more suitable 38" deck. I have never seen this deck mow but the spindles turn freely. The deck has been patched but doesn't have any other holes. What is this deck worth?

I'd say right around $100 in our area.

For the condition that's in, I'd say it's worth the spindles. Deck is worth scrap.

I agree with Jon,
it is patched and patched some more, the deflectors on the underside are missing also.
The spindles as mentioned, if good, have value,-- more value if the newer aluminum ones with tapered bearings.
The cover is worth something and if pulleys are good, not worn/rusted, some value also.
The hangers, & maybe the wood roller also.
like most things, parts are worth more than the whole.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
