Thanks! My washer fix for the hydro lever seems to have made a big difference but Ill wait until I get to run it more before being too happy. Also on another positive note I didnt notice any leaks. Im going to wash off the residual hdyro fluid before I put the fenders on. I made a heck of a mess with it haha.

Also, does anyone know the correct size ih decal for the front headlight panel? I am going to repaint it black and would the decal there. Since it will probably be the only thing painted for a while haha. Was there on the back of the seat or was it on the fender panel between taillights?

I don't know the correct size for the front decal, but the back one goes between the lights.

Also, you could get leather decal vinyl to put on your headlight panel. The texture is similar to the original vinyl. Here are some pictures of it on my 147.

Thanks for the pics, they help a lot! Changed the engine oil, greased, painted air filter cover, replaced points cover gasket and rubeer grommet, carb float bowl and gasket. Also cleaned up foot boards, painted with bedliner and replaced hardware. Got the lawn mowed but the mule drive brackets and pulleys are still giving me fits. Need a new belt and idler pulley, arm and shoulder bolt.

Cleaned up the headlight surrounds and painted it black behind them. Also painted the grille "ih white", it looks OK I guess lol. Might not be perfect but I think it looks better. The new spring and washer fix for the hydro lever made a big difference. It will now climb and descend without me having to hold it in position. I pick the hood up from having the brace really welded tomorrow. Thanks for looking!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
