dang it. or if someone can let me barrow on to make a pattern so i can make them. |

I'm assuming you have one tractor designated for the blade, and another tractor for the blower?

ya i sure do. the 71 pulling tractor in my avitar is getting the blade for the winter and the 71 that i posted as my restore project is getting the blower. looks like i need to find the alignment bolts that the end of the blower mounting frame slide onto. i seen them in a pic. next attachment i am going to buy on a tractor so i know i have all the parts.

click for big picture I made the pin plates so I could just slip them into the hole and use the factory welded in nut to secure the QA-42 but you can use bolts in the forward hole. The pin plates just make it a lot easier. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
