Now, THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!!!! Wyatt, I think I have read every post about your "Wheatland" through the archives over there, but I don't post there. I was tickled to see it finished. That is on SWEEET tractor. By the way, I borrowed your idea on the front axle of my 106 mod. Thanks! I used the tall one. The correct police won't even look at me.

Guys,
I guess I dont fit the mold either. The 147R is pretty much a stock Cub except for the paint and the pipe, the tires, and seat. Very snorty! Fun at shows with the implement train too. I really like the custom mods you guys have done to your Cubs! Maybe my next one will be a little wilder? Regards, Chris

Great job Wyatt. Don't worry about what the correct police think. We all have the right to do as we please with our Cubs.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
