Thanks. I really enjoyed showing them. Met a lot of nice folks and may have a lead on a 70. But must be in sad shape cause the guy that has it said someone robbed the carb. Not sure way but I told him I could take a look at it. I would like to save it cause he said someone wanted it for a puller.

As nice as they all look I probably would have asked the same question.

The 122 dad is thinking of selling is too nice to let a puller get a hold of as well. Creeper drive, headlights, ALL receipts from the time it was new. Dad got it from the widow of the original owner. It came from the Midwest. Guy sold his snowblower once he got down here.

It sure was a beautiful day in Durham, NC John. I had to be up there to help my son. Next time I am in town I will pm you and let you know I am coming. I also have a 122 but it needs work. But that's the fun part.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
