Tire question

the v61's have workd very well in the snow for me plowin. i had the old stock shallow ribs up front and she would just slide. i havent had that happen yet with the v61's. and for the price, you cant beat them.

I dont have the v61s yet . but Id say they would float.

yet another tire to try to decide on that now makes three.
I like the looks of the three rib but not the price
the v61s price look a little better but still not sure
than the ags they look cool so im not sure what i want it looks like i have a big decision to make

my .02 take the ag's off the table. they dont help steer in anything. unless you add 100lbs up front the push the lugs down...

I'm putting ags all around on my 149. Deestone 16-6.50s on the front and Tru Power 23-10.50s on the rear. Don't really care so much about how they work as I do how they look. This tractor is strictly for fun. I've got other tractors for real work.

After mounting a couple pairs of front tires and mounting and loading a pair of the tru powers with fluid, I've gained a new appreciation for tire mechanics. What a job.

That's how I feel. I know the ags are gunna look sweet whether its FWA or not and I wouldn't put them on backwards to save my life. And there still gunna grip better the the old slick ribs or turf savers. The v61s just don't cut it for me for looks

If you guys are looking for snowtires, these are the best IMO. There carlisle snowblower tires. They grip way better then triribs

those are cool, too. Unusual, to say the least. Probably wouldn't last long on pavement, though, if that's any concern.

this is a 4.00 -8 deestone tri rib on my 782. i personally like the narrow tires they steer SO much easier. but you will need the 3.75 inch wide rims

I have the same ones on my 123- easiest to steer with great tracking thanks to the deep groove channels. I also have a brand new set of narrow Carlisle front ags that I haven't had a chance to mount yet, so I can't compare yet......but I'm a fan of the narrow front tires.
