Low cost replacement parts section.
I would like to suggest adding a section where members could post info about direct replacement parts that are lower cost than parts from Cub or Kohler. Members could supply a description of the part as well as the Cub/Kohler part number and the part number for the replacement part.
Example 1. Thread title - KT17, M18 and M20 valve seals Kohler part # KH-52-032-13-S. Average cost $20 Sealed Power part # ST-2005. Average cost $1.50 - $3 Example 2. Thread title - KT17, M18 and M20 head gasket Kohler part # KH-52-041-20-S. Average cost $20 - $25 Stens part # 465-344. Average cost $11 - $14 From there members could also add pics to show a comparison and links to where they purchased it. The ultimate goal here would be to have a section dedicated to this info to help both old and new members save money on their projects, this could be for anything Cub related from the items i used as examples to the drive shaft roll pins and the list goes on and on.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
