Default Banner year on attatchments.

First post in a long time simply because I have been so busy with school and work. This year I have been blessed to pick up several attachments I have only purchased one tractor.

-At Portland, IN this spring I was able to score a package deal on a No. 2 cart and a Brinly cultivator. The next day I traded for a No. 4 cart.

-I bought a No. 3 cart at an auction.

-At the Portland show in August I purchased a NOS Brinly toolbar.

-Found a Brinly Compactor Rake out for the trash (yes it works).

I painted the No. 2, Cultivator, and my rototiller all at once. And currently have the No.3 torn apart back home, it's waiting on a paint job.

Here are few pictures of my finds this year.

It is actually a very interesting attachment. Ground driven, it has a clutch on each wheel. That drives a set of rotating tines similar to a baler, this pushes the leaves up and around a drum that has steel beaters on it to pulverize the leaves into smaller bits and they are then driven up into the trash bag you see on the back.

Hard to explain but I did my best.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
