Default 122 with creeper and hydr. lift with attachments

Tractor is fair condition as well as tiller. Mower deck has a little surface rust, also comes with a plow and a rusty use able harrow. Also has a push blade with surface rust. What would be a fair price for all this? Gonna be my first IH Cub! Think the creeper and hydr were optional on this model? If anything else also give me pros and cons to a 122 please. Robbie

Got any pics?

What are they asking for it?

So, just to make sure I got the implement list right, it comes with:

Tiller
Moldboard plow
Front blade
Harrow
Mower deck
and of coarse the tractor, a 122

That correct? Harrow... do you mean a drag spike tooth harrow? Like an IH one? (IH did offer a harrow for a Cub Cadet.) Or do you mean a Brinly disk? (Some people think they are harrows.) Or is it just a harrow section that he is throwing in the deal that he used with it?

Too expensive! About $500-600 too much.

Is it the condition why that price is too high?

The tractor is 50 plus years old. It has many desirable attachments and accessories...but it is still old. Has the engine been properly overhauled? Are the clutches working and not worn out? Does the hydraulic lift pump leak oil? Does it work? Is the Brinly hitch included for the moldboard plow and disk? This was a great tractor in it's day. If restored properly it can outlast any current Cub Cadet tractors. Price is really determined by how badly you want it and how much you are willing to spend.

I agree.

Tractor and mower deck: $3-400
Plow: $75 (no coulter and looks like an 8")
Disk: $50/75
Blade: $100
Tiller: $150

For all as a package deal, you should pay no more than about $750.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
