Welcome!
Ditto on the cub but I think it's not a Firebird we see in the background it's a 1967 Camaro.

Well we got 3 inches of snow this morning and tried out the new plow setup on my 1872. After weeks of looking I found a match for the 54 " haban power angle cylinder that was missing on the plow. It worked very well and I don't miss my wheel horse manual setup at all. I must address the traction issue, it did ok but I am thinking ag tires and more weight. Happy New Years to you all !

Chain up your turf tires. Best choice for snow! Jealous of the Haban too....after seeing the mounting setup, the QA version just seems chincy

Know what’s cheaper than counseling?

More cub cadets.

I did get a set of homemade chains with the tractor and a homemade weight box. Next time in the barn going to get it done. I would like to build a cab also.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
