I sent him an e-mail. I asked for clarification. He replied and stated the User ID was correct. I warned him of his "potential welcome" and he has been silent.

This reminds me of the kid that works at the local Cub dealer. Everytime I go in there he starts to talk trash about how old Cub's are junk and they should all go to the scrap yard, let's just say that our conversations have gotten heated. I pretty much avoid the place now unless I need something that day and they happen to have it.

Find out what he drives (car) and when he starts making fun of Cub Cadets, start trash talking his car. If he has no pride in his car, or drives an old POS, make fun of his fat mother. Eventually you will find something that pisses him off and he'll quit.

I would prefer a more subtle tactic, like walking out when there's $50 worth of parts on the counter. Some people only learn when it effects them financially and even then there are people who would continue to run their mouths.

It just might be possible he has a cub cadet leaf vacuum.
Then cubcadetsucks would be a good thing, would it not?

It's also possible he has a wife named "Cub Cadet" but I guess we'll never know.

That would only affect the kid if he has some financial stake in the business, or gets paid commission. It is likely he has neither. But I do bet he has a car, and a mother.

But I digress. Off topic.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
