The left weight turns clockwise while the right weight turns counter-clockwise. If you put them on the wrong wheel, they will slow the tractor down due to hysteresis/Coriolis convergence force.

Here a Pic of my "O" with the Weights. Have 2 Sets of Wheel Weights, but they are made in France/Europe. The Farmall Cub was buildt in France for the european Market too,

Several places carry new reproduction sets. Like Steiner tractor parts.

Basically, if you find weight for a 12" garden tractor wheel, they will fit. There are lots of different brands of weights and a lot of them are heavier than Cub Cadet weights. I just found some locally that are 62 pounds each and cub weights are 26. You could also search are making your own. Lots of ways out there. Of course, if you just want to restore a tractor, the cub weights are the way to go.
