Well I could probably do without the bagger if I get a tow behind catcher. That works good on my northern property especially with the leaves. But up there I have a wooded lot to dump it in. At home in the subdivision, I only have one pain in the butt neighbor to dump it on their lawn. After one dump they would catch on quick.

Stands for Auto Gear System (or something along those lines). Very poor design. It says it as part of the model number. IE, AGS 2160. It's a gear drive tractor, but it required you to push a pedal to drive. They didn't last long because people would drive them like a hydro. They'd let part way up off the pedal to slow down, which just slipped the clutches.

Some of us just mulch the leaves and they disappear like magic into fertilizer.

Yeah, I agree, unfortunately my boss doesn't. And we all know who will win that argument.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
