Steve, I had a 60" deck with the very same baffle that was missing as well. I used a piece of cardstock that I cut and formed into a template then used it to cut some steel into the same shape. The hard part was forming it into the curved shape, but then when I used one of the other baffles to form the new baffle, it was close enough where I could make simple as I was tacking it in before final welding.

Most any good sheet metal shop will have a roller that they can form the radius very easily with for you.

Looks great!

I just refurbished my Haban this winter... was a fun project!

Got some limited shop time in the last couple days. Happy Easter everyone! I had removed all the deck parts off my Haban 374 last weekend. Was able to strip some old paint and spread some new color. Must have about 8 hours into all that. These big old deck take alot of elbow grease. Feels like round twelve on this machine.

2182 has been on hold for a few months. Many irons in the fire. Plus it's been bleeding the whole time. I thought it was in major trouble with a cracked rear case or was leaking from between the rear case and adapter. I could tell the leak was low but could never figure it out. I ignored it for a while but recently got the nerve to investigate. I PM'd SamMac making a mountain out of a molehill hill as I went. Before I went throwing parts at it, Sam calmed me down and convinced to use Baby Powder. I powdered my rearend....... Instead of being an issue with the case, it appears to be the crappie galvanized 1/2 inch pipe plugged I used. I picked up a new steel plug. Hopefully this weekend I can get to stop hemorrhaging and continue bringing it back to life.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
