My Dad bought one when he bought his 125 in 1969 or 70.
Used it more to haul two snowmobiles than the 125.
I toted it and the 125 around town mowing lawns many summers.
Was always fun driving on and off it slow enough not to slam the deck up or down too hard.

Dad worked for an IH dealer in the 70s that had these; he said they couldn't sell them. They were usually used by the owner to haul his snowmobiles up north (MI) and back

Would love to find one here. But it'd need a good title to be any good use to me. All the ones I've found have no titles :/

Jason, in most states (maybe all?) you have to have an ID number and a title with a matching ID number on it in order to properly plate your trailer with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles so that you may "legally" drive it on the roads.

Those who do not follow this law risk being ticketed or worse, if there is an accident in which their trailer causes damage, then litigation may follow in which liability will result.

Here you can build your own and apply for registration.
You could buy it and say you built it.
Don't know how other states work but I would think
they would be similar.

Is a 'Title' not just a 'Bill of Sale'??? or do you guys have something differant down there?

Here you just need a bill of sale to insure a vehicle and then with your insurance certificate you can register the vehicle and get a license plate.

With a small trailer that doesnt have a serial # you can apply for a vehicle id number(vin) as a homebuilt unit, for a larger trailer with over 2000 lb capacity you can still apply for a vin but you need to get a safety certificate first.

That particular trailer looks a little rough for $900, if it was around here I would offer him $450, which is still a bit high but it would be nice to have it for my 126.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
