Default Experience with 2-wheeled Gravelys

Anyone have any experience with the walk-behind Gravelys? There are a couple areas of my property that have a lot of large trees and trying to maneuver the 1450 in and out of the trees is quite inefficient.

Anything I should know about them?

I was sure Gravelys' came with flames??

They are great exercise machines,,

When you get tired or over-exercised, add a sulky and keep going,,,

As you can see,,, I prefer the Kohler powered versions!!

Where else can you get an 8HP machine with steering brakes??

12 HP is "more fun",,,

I have been working on getting my gear drive drill press set-up,,,

It is kinda like the "Gravely" of drill presses,,, no belts, 8 speeds, power down feed,,, etc,,,

It fits right in with my Gravelys',,,,

Looks like a frequency drive on the wall, wouldn't that be infinite number of speeds? Or is it just making 3ph?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
