Hello,
I'm from Appleton, Wi. Longtime owner of F-Cub and Loboy. Been looking at getting a 1960-1970s cadet for some months now on local CL. they are there, but prices have seemed a bit high on the ones listed IMO.

A guy contacted me about a model 73 not listed. When I wanted to go look at it, i have been told new tank is on the way for 3 weeks. Old tank was leaking and tore apart. Maybe he changed his mind as does not want to sell.
Anyways I hope to be a cadet owner real soon hopefully

Want a snow attachment, rear lift, brinley plow and mower deck once I get the cadet.

This the 73 doesn't work out for ya another one will show up. Once you get one the other ones add up quickly.

I'd be interested in doing a plow day somewhere here in central Wisconsin. If no one has any land for it, I may be able to come up with something about an acre to play around with. Depends how wet this spring will be.

Getting a plow day set up will motivate me into getting a lift and setup for my 108!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
