Default Cub in New Zealand

Hello- I have a cub cadet 127 in New Zealand. Most likely the only 127 this far South. It was from my uncle that gave it to me as a family heirloom. Drove it into the shipping container and forgot about it when we moved over here last year. Now I just got it going for the first time. It's got the three blade under deck grass cutter, a tiller, and a little blade off the back. Its pretty old but still goes leaving a little cloud of smoke along the way. So far I only have the grass cutter working. Maybe this week we'll get the tiller going as its spring on this side of the world. The ducklings are hatching (one on my lap as I type), the trees are showing leaves, and its time to till the soil. Now to find a few more belt sizes and we should have some turned garden beds. I'll post some photos and now off to read some more cub info. Thanks for all the good posts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
