#40 box blade pickup!
Found a decent IH #40 box blade today. The PO had it acid dipped and repainted it. It has been used but it's all there minus decals. Where could one get new decals for it? The box has some slightly bent edges but nothing a little careful body work wouldn't fix. Got it all hooked up to the 128 when I got home...but it's raining!

I often wonder how well these do in the snow.

I would think in snow that it would pack up in the box and spin you out, unless you were meaning solely backing up to push it away. With a box full of 1 inch rock, they are a LOAD. I tried it out today on my driveway. They work alright, but really aren't heavy enough for moving fresh rock. Had to put the blade down, fluff up the rock backing up, turn around and drag the rock where it needed it. Like I've heard before, more of a TOY than a really useful piece of equipment. Just thought I'd put it up to the test.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
