I think you have something upside down. This are the best pics I have for that style life carriage.

You put it in the wrong hole, LMAO

Pull the bolts out and move the inner part of the lift carriage forward one hole.

I can see this going very bad.

If you want a copy of the Haban manual send me your e-mail address in a PM and I'll send it to you.

Well thanks to the Mac daddy & Rescue11, the deck is almost finished. came out great. The under side has a heavy coat of enamel and the graphite deck paint. Might have to replace the center pully it has a slight warp, but we will see once it's running. Everything has been repaired or replaced, blasted. I'll post a video on e she is on and working. Still need to drill the front and rear caster holes, had to fill them in, they were severely oversized.

That looks like a great refurbish job. IMO, these Haban decks are a solid, honest piece of equipment. BTW, I refurbished mine also. Thanks to the help and suggestions of SamMack

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
