Default Loader refresh
Well I finally got sick of seeing rust and that ugly green paint on my loader, so I spent this week cleaning up and fixing some issues that needed work. I fix a bunch of cracks straighten the loader arms (this poor loader had been really abused before i got it) and improved the subframe a little, I also made some stronger braces. Anyways, on with the pics, a before...



Here's the subframe on the the other 149



A close up of the subframe/brace.



The top side of the brace, I cut out a large spacer and tack welded it to the brace, the original spacers were so small the flattened part of the tube would flex under load.



Some parts waiting to be put on.



This is as far as I got today, updates to come!

Thanks! The green thing is my dads 1930s Oliver 80 standard, it was originally a kerosene model but he had carb rebuild for it to run on gas, he'll finish it someday

Sure, here's a pic of when I was building it, I simply used a old set of caliper brackets, Seems to be working real well.

The capacity is rated at 750lbs. I'm sure I've had 600 in it, I moved the 4.2 from my jeep with fluids and transmission, my hydraulics are a little tired so it isn't quite as strong as it could be. Here it is moving another cub, you need a LOT of weight on the back.
