Met another OCC member this weekend
Hey guys,
Yesterday fellow OCC member oldtoyrandy and his daughter came for a visit and to pick up his new to him #2 cart and a manual for it, a NF snow plow, Ih wheel weights, tire chains, and a EZ-Vac attachment for the #2 cart, He drove all the way up here from North Carolina, he drove 600 miles 1 way, so 1200 miles round trip, I think he has the record for driving the farthest for a #2 cart and a couple attachments, lol, we went out to dinner last night to a local seafood restaurant and had a great time, then we shot the breeze at my place and loaded up all his stuff, then he came back today to get his trailer. I also showed Randy all my carts and collection of cub cadets and tractors, it was great to finally meet you Randy. Randy is a very nice guy and I can't wait to get together with him again. Thanks so much Randy. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
