That was my thought...... at 300 hours, it should be all original and just look "restored".

Or the hour meter doesn’t work, or was unhooked....

Or.... it had a new meter put on it at some point.....

Who knows. Sounds fishy to me though. I'd beware!

Maybe I should say semi restored. Thing is owned by a old timer that's super anal so it was clean as a whistle to start. All rewired, deck all straight and re painted, he put all new panels on and new decals new tires, seat is like new. The old guy really takes care of his stuff like it's a babe Ruth autographed baseball

Then why did it need repainted, rewired, new panels and decals with only 300 hours on the tick?

My 1811 looked pretty good when I got it and it had like 12 or 1300 hours on it's clock.......

So.... you are familiar enough with the tractor that you have seen it before, and after its "restoration"?? If so, why are you wanting to know a value? If you know it that well, you think the old guy is trying to rip you off?? Sounds to me like you have your heart set on it, so go buy it and be happy.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
