That won't tell you whether that was the issue when solid mounted...
I'd pull the driveline, and fire her up. If it still shakes that bad, then you have an issue with the motor. Solid mounted or not, the motor should not have that much vibration. Eliminating it with rubber mounts will simply mask it. Also, you haven't said whether you put in a solid driver. If you did, it is my understanding that running one with ISO mounts is a bad idea.

I currently have about 20 ball and worn shaft jokes and I'm really not sure which one to go with...

Never found anything tight enough to wear the shaft and if things don't get too violent, the balls don't get hurt either.

I am using a solid 3 Pin Driver from Zach Kerber. So you are saying the ball IS NOT NEEDED if running a solid three pin? If that is the case, I can take the ball out and a 1/8" longer drive shaft should not have an effect as there is quite there would be quite a bit of room in the coupling. |

CUBRAT, you need to keep the 5/8" centering ball inside the transmission input yoke regardless of what type of 3 pin driver you are using.

A solid mount do over is coming up. Solid mounts, cradle mod, Kerber solid 3 pin driver, resurfaced pressure plates, new roll pins, new teaser spring, new cup, new release arm, throwout bearing is good and will solid mount the rear coupler using 3/8" nuts.
If this doesnt satisfy me, I will go with Iso mounts and flex coupler. |

You may have a clearance issue with your cradle mod....especially if you use ISO mounts. You welded the cross strap on the undersides of the engine cradle. It may clear the chassis with solid mounts but may cause issues with the ISO mounts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
