brinly plow ? and weights
I looked through the implement library and cant find one like this. I think the part sticking up might have been cut off the front and welded on the top like that? But even if that was straight I don't see one in the library like it. I believe my Grandpa bought this and pulled it behind a Gilson made Montgomery Wards. Any ideas?
Also picked up some weights for 50 bucks. They look John Deere by color but the are IH.

The PO has cut off the front of the frame and custom made that bar.

Nice find on the wheel weights and plow.
That is an early style brinly plow. And like _DX3_ stated, someone has done a little modification to it. Should look something like this. You should be able to change it back if you know somebody that has some fabrication skills.

The plow my from what I think I know? I have nobody to ask anymore but I think my dad told me my grandpa bought this and pulled it behind a '71 Montgomery Wards garden tractor. (Gilson made) I know he bought the tractor new and assume he did this too? He didnt like it because he said it was to hard to set up right? I assume he modded it because that would not surprise me. I cant find out how he had it hooked to the Wards though? Looks like I can just cut that top part off and weld it back in place. Find some C shaped metal and weld it back on the end. Does that C shaped piece on end fit in the sleeve hitch? If so it will raise it but what keeps it from swinging back and forth or is it just that tight on the hitch that it only moves side to side a small amount? Also what is measure to see if this is a 10" or 12"? The weights is what I actually found. Never can have to many can you?

I think I answered my own question on what is measured to say its a 10,12... It is the width right? Like take an imaginary line from the back edge and bring it up to the point and that is the width.
